On Make Racists Afraid Again

In 2016 when then-candidate Donald Trump debuted his "Make America Great Again" hats,  B. Dolan recognized that the image and merch would be effective, and set out to create a satire image / item originally intended as something he might wear onstage.

However as soon as the image was made and posted, it went viral.  The hashtag #MakeRacistsAfraidAgain became a slogan that appeared on protest signs around the world in the weeks and years that followed.

While selling the hats throughout Trump's presidency, percentages of the profits were donated to bail funds, immigrant defense organizations, the BLM Charlottesville chapter, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and Gaza mutual aid.

The phrase "Make Racists Afraid Again" has also entered the public consciousness and been used (and sometimes ripped off) by various sellers.  We have never pressed the issue of copyright or intellectual property in this case, as the phrase is meant to be contributed to human beings worldwide, in the struggle against racism and fascism.
